So it would be logical to remove the favicon that I put here
http://www.liosite.com/Portfolio/favicon.ico? But then the gallery will load the favicon of the site if I'll put that favicon in the root?
No, I mean that for most sites including yours, you want the same favicon on all pages of the entire website, and how to achieve that? - Just drop "favicon.ico" in the root of your website, and ALL pages (including Imagevue) will use this main favicon. Even if you DO have specific code for this in Wordpress or other pages, this is optional but it certainly is not required (and has no reason either, unless you want to use different favicons on different pages).
Yes, and ti works for wordpress because you have told Wordpress "Hello Wordpress, I have a favicon and I want to upload it in a specific location but don't worry I will add the code also in your theme". Unfortunately, adding a favicon to Wordpress only adds it to wordpress ... This is a simplistic approach for a wordpress theme, but certainly not recommended from a developers perspective. If you want the favicon to appear for all pages on your website (including non-wordpress pages), then you either need to copy the favicon code into ALL page templates, or simply drop favicon.ico into the root of your website.
So, what is the easiest solution then?
The easiest solution would obviously be to drop the favicon.ico in your root, and this is generally recommended anyway. I am not sure why we need to discuss this any more, because this is the best solution, the easiest solution, and also THE way to do it properly ...

I have had this working but without my website icon. I changed a lot of things and now it's not waorking at all so I' ll try newly from the original code.
My problem is to individuate every single part of your code that needs to be replaced.
I need to see your website to understand what might be wrong. Unfortunately, when it comes to this certain part of custom html overlaying your gallery, this is not really something we "include" in Imagevue, because it is generally custom code with widgets loaded from social services (which they like to change once in a while also). If we could make this part easier, we would, but its generally just a suggestion as to how you might want to integrate these social widgets into your website.

It's not easy for anyone to keep track of these things, including ourselves. I think you re doing very well
We hope in the future, we can make our interface even easier to use ...
