When you try to do this, even in your gallery the box appears like it will work, then when I move my mouse to the field to enter my text, the whole thing disappears.
This is true. Unfortunately with the custom widget we have, that is added as a separate custom module, it works on a mouse hover system that acts on mouse focus. Unfortunately, the 3rd layer that google ads we have no control over, so it would not be good for "adding text". I would need to look into this, but in essence, this would require an entirely different system where the google +1 link is static and visible on screen all the time. That could already be done now with a little tweak, although I could not stand for the design.
creed205 wrote:I don't care how it's done honestly. I would just like to be able to share one image on Google+, have the image in the post on Google+ and when someone clicks on it, it brings them to the page on my flash gallery. For example, I would go to this page
http://www.marcushamaker.com/#/content/ ... Canyon.jpg click a button and it puts it on Google+.
Unfortunately, this is a bit more complicated ... first of all, Google plus one don't provide an API for sharing an item, so we cant just add a button that shares a specific image. This can also be experiences in the extended sharing buttons -
Go to an image in imagevue, roll over the image, then the share button ... Click "more". Google +1 is not available because you can't build an interface button for it! So what does this leave us with? It leaves us with the native Google +1 button integration, which is added in the custom "social thing" sharing module that is top right of the demo gallery. The thing with this module, is that it is a custom module entirely separate from the imagevue gallery because it can't be integrated into flash. It uses unique javascript directly from facebook, twitter and Google ... This also means, since it is embedded on a single page, this module will not be able to share separate pictures either, because essentially the images you see in Imagevue are NOT on separate pages traditional speaking. Imagevue is basically a single-page application.
Sorry to not give you better answers, but you might understand from the technical nature of things as exaplined.

I want them to click the image on Google+ and have them come directly to that image on the flash site. I could just share images on G+ with no linking back, but the reason I got Imagevue is because it really is a nice way to experience the pictures.
Again, sorry - I believe this is explained above. There simply is no API to build a button for sharing to +1. So we are left with the single-page button embedded into the document. Unfortunately, we can't get that to share separate Imagevue images since this module is basically embedded into the html page (it has to be), and there are no "pages".
We will look into this further, but as you may understand, there are some complications. I can say that things may be improved a lot with the new html version coming soon.
