I just set up a site based on imagevue X2 and until now mastered all problems and issues with custom themes, custom filemods, etc..
But now as it comes to content i am stuck on something simple as a textpage
Whenever I insert a link, the editor will make it an simple text (although it is shown blue and underlined in the editor)
Blaming the editor, I tried to work around this problem and edit the textpage right in the xml file... generating some even greater (and stranger) problem:
whenever I edit the xml and open my gallery in the browser, the whole textpage ist emptied to just the bare xml-skeletton!
All content is gone!
I tried to locate the problem, so i took the demo-textpage (in wich the links work perfectly) as a basis and started to edit the content.
It worked, when I only edited title and text... but after replacing the link-url of a link with my own link, the gallery stripped everything from <a href to the end of the content... leaving just one line of text...
Just to make my problem clearer: It is not that the gallery does not SHOW the rest of the textpages content, the gallery edits the folderdata.xml and removes everything!
Is there any "autocorrection" for folderdata.xml-files that runs berserk here? Can I disable this somehow?!
Oh, the Version I use is 2.1.7.1 from March... (just updated, but problem remains)
edit:
I now managed to get the link staying in the textpage... but it is not clickable!
On the first museover the hover-underline flashes and stays gone... as if there was some layer over the textpage, that keeps mee from reaching the link wih the mouse!
(btw.: i have almost the same problem with the Submit-Button of the contact-form!)
I hope somebody has a solution for my problem...
