Would it be possible to add an option in the admin section that restricts downloading from specific folders? I think this would be great.

Yes, it would be possible. Just keep in mind something we have mentioned earlier also: Just because you remove the "download" functions in imagevue, doesn't mean skillful users won't be able to download your images. Most of them will even know that they can simply search their browser cache folders to find the images.

I will add it to list, but we will not be able to look into this immediately!

I think its pointless, every picture you view is in your browser cache anyway.

Thanks for your responses.
I am fully aware of the browser cache issue and to what extent skillful guys can go; however, not all viewers are classified as skillful. In fact most of them are not aware of this fact.
It was just and idea and thanks for your time

hmm didn;t think that actually :p
Always thought flash read the file and therefore didn;t store it in your cache...
But still every image on the web is downloadble ... there are so many ways to approach a "download"
