Hello,
I have a problem with the news module. Problem is that photos which has been uploaded to a hidden and password-protected folder is show under "New Photos" in the news module. I am 100% sure that it is a hidden and password-protected folder since I can only see the thumbnail, clicking on thumbnail and Im asked for password.

Is this normal?

I also have a memory seeing a place to add and remove photos from the news module (after upload), but now I cant seem to find it??

I run PowerPack version "v2.2.2 (Imagevue X2.8.1 Only!)", installation (and download) date "24.07.2012".
And gallery is "Imagevue X2.8.1".

the best solution for this problem (for me) that is replace the real thumbnail with a special thumbnail with type "masked" or "secret" ... a kind like this ^^

Regards to the problem - I checked, and I can't get the situation when uploaded picture is stored in the news when uploaded into a hidden or prodected folder (maybe there's something to do with the server, not the PP itself).

If it's somehow stored in the news for you, then I'll need to look into your gallery/admin to diagnose the problem.


Nice workaround. But anyway, this shouldn't works in this way, this need to be fixed if the problem exist

yes its true, i dont use the hidden folder, so i cant check to :/
