It would be so useful and so nice and so convenient and so.... you get the picture... I really like this idea.

If one could set settings at the local level (folder) to have a given folder behave independently from the globally set settings. Which ones you ask? Well, as much as they can give me of course. But having the flexibility to have a different way to show things based on the content (because one organized it that way) is way cool. One folder starts in autoplay presentation mode, another starts in thumbnail, some have music from one genre and others from another mood to go with that set.

Okay...So, about the music thing... I don't see it happening either, but you liked it huh? Anyway, any thoughts on the rest?

We already have some ideas like this down the pipeline, and I think it will be very useful. Mainly, it will be important folder parameters like: startmode(thumbs/image), autoplay, showcontrols etc.

As for the audioplayer, you can already set it to play different music from each folder. Simply drop your mp3 files into separate imagefolders, and set the audioplayer to "use_imagefolder=true" in settings ...
