Re: Where does {{copy}} in footer get the year?

I don't know how it happened, but the date now says 2024. Thanks.

Where does {{copy}} in footer get the year?

I've searched, but can't find the answer to this question. My website says copyright 2023 and I'd like to change it to 2024.

Is there somewhere I can change 2023 to 2024?

Thanks,
Tom

Re: X3 Backend won't edit pages/ turns gray

OK, I found it. "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()" is the error message I get and it's for x3_menu.php.

I probably should also mention I'm using Cloudflare to get https.

What should I do next?

Thanks again for your help.

Re: X3 Backend won't edit pages/ turns gray

Thanks! Are your instructions for Chrome? Because I can't find Network Tab in Safari or Firefox. Will either of those browsers show what you need? Or should I download Chrome?

Thanks.

X3 Backend won't edit pages/ turns gray

In the Manage section of the X3 backend, I can no longer edit pages. When I click a page, the screen turns gray and I have to refresh to get the panel to work again. And didn't the Menu section used to list the pages I have in my site? I'm attaching a screenshot. The picture on the left is before I ...

Re: Files App :new:

You saw the update button? Image That should only show if there are updates newer than your current version. Did I mismatch something?
Yes, it's there. It's a bell-shaped icon.

Re: Files App :new:

Thanks, Karl, I wondered if it might be a server issue. I don't need to show files that big, I just grabbed some available jpegs and uploaded them to see your new tool.  The "menu" I was talking about is the horizontal bar at the top of the screen. I'd use Files to show files rather than to build a ...

Re: Files App :new:

This is great. Is there a maximum size it can use? I uploaded a few full-size jpgs from a 42-meg camera and it never made thumbnails of those files. If I click the generic thumbnail, the file shows properly. Is there any documentation? I changed  const menu_enabled = false; //thr changed from true c...

Re: What is "Screenbox"

Thank you. I'll give it a try and see how it works on mobile browsers.

I really like the idea of sizing images to the viewport.

What is "Screenbox"

And how do I turn it on?

The examples pages contain a sample using "Screenbox" to fit images in the vertical layout to the viewport.

I'm looked for Screenbox in the panel for a couple of weeks and I can't find it anywhere.

Where is it?

Thanks,
Tom

Re: Understanding security and hacker risks

May I mention, you may want to edit the robots.txt file with the new name of your panel if you do this? I was gonna say that would be a good idea, but it occurred to me that would allow hackers to find out your panel URL by loading /robots.txt in their browser. It's not really necessary to update t...

Re: Understanding security and hacker risks

Renaming the panel folder is a cool trick. Thanks for that. May I mention, you may want to edit the robots.txt file with the new name of your panel if you do this? Thanks.

That's a Flash issue and it's been discussed somewhere in this forum. There isn't anything the Imagevue designers can do about it.

Name your folders so they sort the way you want:
01 Portraits
02 Landscapes
14 Other

And then change their description in the Admin module.
