Re: PHISHING

So X2 is alright then? I'd considered an upgrade but... I'm currently looking for something that displays images, similar your module - for tablets. I-pads have abandoned Flash as an interface. I think that was a mistake but the popularity of that tablet has become too big to ignore. .I really like ...

PHISHING

I have an early version of the Imagevue module and every single site that I had placed the module on has been hacked. The hack on the sites usually involved some kind of code that just killed the whole display of images. However, the latest hack has been a phishing attack for a bank! In this attack ...

Exactly. That is the problem. You enable all the settings for scripts and still come up with a blank page. Nothing new for me to report. I gave up using the browser or trying to fix it. Firefox had a security bug too (actually admitted it) but I was able to troubleshoot and fix it through their foru...

Apparently there's a bug in the new IE7 that prevents changing the Security Settings and java script permissions. I went through every possible scenario and opened all the available security levels and stil got no ImageVue to display... I emulated the same scenario in Firefox by disabling scripts th...

Still, on my box, ImageVue 17 is not displaying through IE7 . MS had futile recommendations- canned answers or use the fourms to figure out a fix. I tried the MS recommended IE6 work-around without results. I've posted my frustrations both here and on the MS forum and gotten no other viewers respons...

REALLY? So you can see ImageVue 17? I'm using ImageVue 17 and spent way too much time trying to unravel the MS problem so I just defauted back to Firefox. They sent me a canned answer to make me work to find a solution but I'm not into it. Makes me uneasy to think that some of the installations do n...

Nick, I'm getting the same thing at all ImageVue links: www.photo.gallery imagevue gallery module text display is all that appears on the screen. Other Flash programs are behaving differently, like having to click on a Flash menu to enable the mouse overs to work (an alt message to click on this to ...

IE 7 Browser Does Not Display Imagevue

Has anyone had the problem I am having with Internet Explorer 7's inability to display my gallery? I checked the add-ons section and found that Shockwave and all the necessary plugins were installed and enabled. Hey, it worked when I had version 5. The new Firefox browser has no problems- This probl...

Cool...How about a table of contents for organizing- with links to each section (like on the online verion)? Adobe has bookmarks that you can add so you can find your way around faster. It is convenient to have the documentation and not have to go online for the info. Thanks!

Turns out that I had Georgia entered as the font, which I did not have installed on my system- I chaged it to Veranda- didn't work. I then chaged it to Arial and it worked. Problem solved. Thanks.

One thing that drives me absolutely crazy is that the Documenation does not specify which file to edit in the slideshow. There are two identical files: slideshowcofig.ini and slideshowimagevuecofig.ini. There's nothing specific in the instructions. Hit or miss. If you had not told me the difference,...

I went throughout the slideshow cofig files and changed everything in it to Veranda and still got that mis-matched NY Times font for my efforts.. defautfont I had thought to be the ke...

Hmmm, looks like another afternoon of trying troubleshooting. I did this: re: https://forum.photo.gallery/viewtopic.php?p=1241#1241 I had the same problem as you, with the desciptions in the slideshow. So it changed the displayposition to 'displayposition = left'. There is more space for your descri...

Right again Rene. I just clicked your link and it opened fine. Thank you. Once before, I had it right but forgot how I did it. That backslash at the end of the url is very important too. I'm taking notes from now on...I'm too forgetful. Do you know if there's a way to reformat the font in the slides...
