I want to be able to disable the menu on the first page and re-enable it on other pages.
The idea is to have a simple custom swf page like 3 buttons in the center: ABOUT GALLERY CONTACT
Can i do this with parameters or is it only accessible trough the admin area?

Your own flash would have to integrate the SWFAddress, and then control the GotoAndStop based on the SWFAddress URL/parameters ... How do i check if there is Swf Address? So that I can tell my swf to load the gallery section if there is deep linking

It seem like you need to set the background to "NoScale" and align it properly... use the firestarter theme background as an example.
