Question on assigning image as preview image for folder

Dear all: I'm using ImageVue v2.7.5.2. I know how to assign a specific image as the preview image for that folder. But, is there any way (or script) to hide that preview image from being listed as one of the thumbnail images among others in the same folder? In other words, I only want that specific ...

Re: How to create custom thumbs for known filetypes?

Dear Karl: I just got that issue sorted out. For some reason, the existing files wouldn't associate my newly uploaded thumbs as their file types images. I simply re-uploaded all files and that took care of the problem I mentioned earlier. Thank you still for quickly offering your helpful hands!! :D

How to create custom thumbs for known filetypes?

Dear all: I wanted to replace the existing thumbs for known filetypes (e.g. .doc/.xls/.ppt/.pdf/...etc.) with my custom thumbs files. Had found and replaced the existing thumbs jpg files inside the "/in-includes/images/thumbs" folder. However, that didn't seem to take my new thumbs into effect at al...

Are you using latest version? Did you set permissions on your iv-config folder? Hi, Karl: I'm using x2.7.5.2. And, just tried applying chmod 777 to the iv-config folder and all files inside, but still got the same error when I tried uploading swf into MyTheme. Are there other things that I could tr...

Re: Adding "Last updated on xxxx.xx.xx" on the welcome page.

If only this, then you can do it yourself. For example you can use "description" section of your page to display info about updates  Open file IndexController.php , which you can find in iv-admin/controllers/ and find line: $folder->addFile($file); echo "File {$imageName} uploaded"; right aft...

Re: New X2.7.5.2 installation error

Hi, Nick: I just figured out what went wrong with my new installation - some unzipped files were corrupted during the uploading so that they were missing in the new folder on my web. Now that I had got the new IV X2752 up and running, I wonder if the upgrade tutorial (https://www.photo.gallery/docum...

Re: Adding "Last updated on xxxx.xx.xx" on the welcome page.

Hi, Karl:

Sorry for a novice's misunderstanding..
What I set up my IV to run was to automatically display a random photo in the photoblinds mode from a specific 'welcome' folder. Many thanks.
