barcol
Added: 21. April 2005
Values
false
[barcolor],[bartextcolor]:
bgcol,textcol
[HEXcolor,HEXcolor]
Description
Sets the color of the
graphic barsover and under the imageVue image area. Also sets the color for the texts which
are on the bars. Graphic bars include the main bars, aswell as the bars over the
imagenavigation pane and the main controls. By default, this setting is set to
false, which displays the default shaded black raster graphic with white text. You
can choose to set the colors to "bgcol" or "textcol" which
inherits the color values from the
main color scheme settings. Obviously, you can also set plain
colorvalues. See the examples below.

Notes
By default, this value is set to false because the main black bars over and under
the imageVue content area are raster/bitmap graphics with shading and transparency.
Coloring them out basically removes the shade and bevel effect, and creates a
monotone color overlay. It is recommended to use the
bgcol/textcol settings if you want to change the color - Not only are you guaranteed color
consistency and contrast, but when you change the main colorscheme
bgcol textcol settings, they are
inherited.
