Changing the visual appearance of imageVue
To a certain degree, every single item in the
configuration list has an impact on the visual appearance of your imageVue gallery. However, there
are a few outstanding items which have maximal impact. These features are:
bgcol
textcol
backimage
Configuration list feature: bgcol
Simply sets the global background color of your imageVue document. Should be
in relatively sharp contrast to the textcol feature:
Configuration list feature: textcol
Sets the global colorscheme for all textitems and navigation items which are
placed on top of the background color. Should be in relatively sharp contrast
to the bgcol feature.
Configuration list feature: backimage
|
backimage = someimage.jpg |
Sets the background image in your gallery document, which by default aligns to
the TopLeft corner, unless you change the backalign feature. This image can be
as large as you want, and should fade into the background so no image borders
are revealed. We recommend using a very subtle image here, or even disable it
by setting it to false, because a sharp image often looks like shit along with
various unknown images(Sorry about the language, but its our honest opinion).
You may want to use this feature for adding your logo.

Notes
As mentioned, all the features in the configuration list have some impact on
the visual appearance of your gallery. Most of the settings are interactive items,
and the best way to fine-tune your gallery, is to simply look through all the
settings in the
configuration list.
